I just had my A/F and Oil Pressure guage installed.

My A/F guage is reading lean on idle and when not full throttle. The only time it slight moves into the middle area is when I hit the throttle. What do I look for to get it back into the normal area?

My Oil pressure guage reads 8psi when warm and not moving and goes up around 25psi when accelerating. I have know idea what the normal reading is supposed to be.

Can anyone help me here? Please

Unless you installed a CALIBRATED a/f guage(or had yours calibrated) then the A/F guage is nothing more than pretty lights to look at...

The car WILL run more lean when not at WOT then at WOT. WOT is FULL RICH.. So, obviously it will run that way (you haven't had any tuning done to the car, or anything, have you?)

yes, untuned a/f will be lean on decel, rich on WOT, and bouncy everywhere else. now you know why people call it the blinky light. it will NEVER stay in one place (except for decel and WOT), move slowly, or stay in the orange.

oil psi sounds normal if you tapped in the head. where did you tap for your sender?

glad to hear you finally got that stuff in though!

Forgive me for being illiterate, but what do I need to do to get a good tune or a calibrated guage?

Also, I didn't install the guages, I had someone do it for me and he tapped into the wrong wire (black/blue). I found that problem and tapped into the white and red wire and the guage is acting the way I was expecting. Pretty much rich on throttle and lean when its not and back and fourth the rest of the time.

The oil guage was tapped into the head.

sounds about right to me, that is what my two guages do, I plan to move the oil presure sender to the better spot when I have the time
