I just got approved for a loan for a new 'used' car. It is a shame your car is a manual, otherwise, I would send you that loan check tonight. Your car is beautiful. I agree with everyone else, your selling price surprised me when I first saw it.

for the price of something new you could still have enough money to supercharge it.

That would be a sweet ride to pickup! Theyare reliable and fast! Plus fairly rare!

I agree the price is more than reasonable!

IMHO keep the car and buy a house!

That's definitely a gorgeous car, but not something I can see myself using as a daily-driver.

While I'm not a moderator, and it doesn't bother me either way, I'd say this is definately a classified ad. But I bet a friend of mine in SC would be really interested in your car...See, your stealth advertisement is working already!

It's all about the Renesis...

However, you better come up to Indy with it, so I can see you!

say wha? the newer VQ engines generate very strong torque at relatively low rpms and have a fairly flat torque curve from 3k rpm to redline. let's be clear...any VQ series infinity/nissan (even the titan) will squash any mazda (*in a straight line ) with equal $$ invested in mods. i can support this with dyno graphs and time slips if you'd like.

that said the rx8 is a very nice car with *great handling and good power potential, plus you can get them used at a decent price. as far as your 6 goes, i think you're right on with your asking price. the newer mazda's are nice cars but still take a pretty hefty depreciation hit.

He means bottom-end as in engine block, connecting rods, and pistons. You can only go but so far with F/I on the VQ35.

"Weak bottom-end" as in the bottom-end of the motor, not the torque curve. It's a great engine, but a few too many have blown up with minimal boosting for my tastes.

Yeah, I agree. Sure, I'd love to get $2,000 more like some have suggested putting it close to $18,000, but I only paid $20,000 for this car brand-new that stickered at almost $26,000. And it's a 2003. By August anyone will be able to buy a similarly-equipped brand-new 2005 model for the same. But, seeing the comments, I might just raise the price to $17,400 when it comes time to sell and see what happens.

true. however there's a couple NA VQs that run mid 13s with just i/h/e (<$1k). and that's an auto.

good luck selling your car sigma. looks like it's been well maintained and the mods are useful/tasteful. i'm sure someone will pay your asking price.
