I work for a unionized grocery store as a General merchandise clerk.
I dont 'like' my work, because a lobotomized monkey could do most of my job (check barcode digits, and match them with the correct tags on the shelf, then put that item on the shelf). Its kind of a waste of my brain, as I feel I could deffinatley be doing something that would take advantage of my brain.
Occasionally I get to build patio sets, or [censored] like that, in which case I dont mind as I like working with my hands and building.
One draw back is that me and a fellow college student are the only 'able-bodied' people in my whole freaking dept., so heavy lifting is our forte'.

This job however does meet my current requirements for emplyoment:
Good pay (12.10/ hr, 30-40 hours a week, often with time and a half overtime)
flexible hours (need to work when i can because of college)
Managers and I get along most of the time.
It should suit me till i get out of college
