The Input Shaft speed sensor of the Transaxle should always report the same value as Engine RPM when the Torque Converter is locked. If these values don't match up, you can get a code for the transaxle slipping.
This can be either,
Torque Converter Clutch worn out Pump Seal leaking (causing Torque Converter low pressure) Valve Body worn (causing Torque Converter low pressure) Old Tranny oil
You can try changing out the Tranny Oil and see if things improve. It may only be a short fix and hold for a short time. If so, then you are in for a rebuild.
