298.20 bucks total for repair with a new pump from the local Ford dealer. All in all I think they did me right. The mechanic worked on the car outside (both bays were full) so he earned his money couped up in the back seat with 90+ degrees and high humidity.
Car runs fine now except for it's usual surging.
