Boy do I miss my Escort GT about now....with 150k miles on it.
The fuel pump up and died this morning...at least I hope thats's all thats wrong. It did the bucking/jerking no power deal after turning a sharp left hander this morning. I made it about a mile and it got worse and didn't recover. Now it just cranks. Pump barely whirs at all with the rear seat lifted up. 45 dollar tow bill and who knows what they will charge. I made sure I told them pumps weren't over 200 bucks at NAPA and that there was an access hole under the back seat. Would be cool if I had enough time to order a pump from Jenkins but need the car at the end of today if possible.
No more contours for me after this one. I don't think it's a bad car but it just seems like I've had as many freaky things happen to me with this car than all of my previous ones combined.... in less than a years time.. !
