Congrats! Those kind of fights with the dealership are not easily won!
Oh defently, Ryan. I already called an order in, lol. 10 Large Pizzas for the Service Dept are going to be on there way. As for the torsen, they don't have one in stock and they are calling around to the other dealerships in the area to see if they can get thier hands on one. My cost will be $643.00 installed. . So, I am HOPING they can locate one and get it TODAY. He said they won't beable to hold up the hoist to wait for it to come overnight. Which is very much understandable.

Whoa, hold up a minute...
Are you saying there is a recall on the Cougar fuel pump? I put one in my 'tour back in December (as a stock replacement to the blown one), and it's been bucking in 3rd gear ever since. So if there is a recall on the pumps, I'd love to hear about it!

Recall on the pumps that came in the cars. If you did something yourself you are SOL.

Nothing like a free tranny upgrade... The place we got the Mystique from has been good to us. We took the car there when we were having fuel starvation issues. They dropped the tank, flushed the tank and put a new pump in. It was out of warranty but it was still only like $200. None of the other dealerships would listen to us when we said it was a fuel issue... One dealership told us it was caused by the location of the wires going to the wiper motors... Too bad that dealership is like 45 min. away from us... Oh well, i've learned to do all the repairs myself now...

Good to hear there are more good dealers around. Local dealer by me was willing to align my car when all the other shops wouldn't becuase it was too low. The body shop guys liked my CF hood when I got it cleared there too.

Damnit! Kinda what I thought, but figured it was worth a shot. Typical Ford to have a recall on something and still sell the part as a replacement. Doh! Shoulda bought a Walbro...
