I would have liked to have done the FSVT pump but why spend $ and get dirty if I don't have to?
Exactly! Many have asked me why I don't have terry rebuild the trans... well, I would have sent it to him if I would have had to pay 1500.00 for repairs. I'll take all the freebies I can get.  .
As for your fuel pump problem, mine experiences that same thing, too.  Looks like a new FP is in my near future.

Wow, that is great to hear! That a Dealership is making good on something.
Our Honda van is covered bumper-to-bumper 'til 100K miles (allegedly). I smell anti-freeze in the exhaust several times a few months ago. We decide to take it in, why wouldn't we it is under warranty right? They do a pressure test, nothing wrong. Here is your bill, since there was nothing wrong that we can charge Honda for under warranty. NICE.

So now tell me why Ford recalls the returnless Cougars with the same exact fuel system as a Contour and not the Contours?!!!!

Yea but getting an LSD is so nice. You should ask them to drop in a Torsen since they have it open and it's a Ford part.

Also have another buddy that had an alt. replaced at a dealer his grandpa/dad owns. The alt. they put in was built incorrectly and was putting out 18v!! Caused the battery to explode. What did that acid do to an already crappy wire harness?! Yep trashed. They covered it though. Like 2k!!!!!! I said no other dealer would help you. They'd be like it's not our fault, prove it.
