You also want to consider another thing when getting your paint done. Is the car just your daily runaround,or is it your fun car, which you like to show off with and cruise in etc? I'd say go ahead for the cheap paintjob on your daily runaround, but if you've got a nice car with lots of mods and stuff, why skimp out on the paint? Paint is the first thing people notice when they see a car. Paint makes or breaks the look. My car,in my opinion atleast, looks good,BUT,my front bumper and hood badly need to be repainted due to stone chips. I've got mods,my car is my daily driver, and my 'show' car,and when I'm at meets and shows people cringe when they see the state of the front end of my car and it makes them forget the rest of the hard work I've put into the car. Spend your money right the first time and get a quality job, instead of having to go back in 6 months to get it repainted because it peeled or faded, and paying for the same cheap job twice will be the same as paying for one good job once.
