they do minimalist prep work. i had a paint job done at a similar shop, Car Coa, about 10 years ago on my truck. it looked really good when it came out and still looked good over a year later. with some body work i paid about $900 IIRC. at a real paint shop it would have run at least $2k. which wasnt worth it for an old truck that wasnt worth anything. i was happy with it. would i have my csvt painted there?
if youre looking for a basic, cheap paint job, check your local vocational schools that teach auto body prep and paint. theyll probably do it real cheap and might even put more effort into it.
