Anyways, I read Viss said something about fake looking cgi in the trailer. I just wanted to say the lack of seeing the aliens in the trailer is what made me see the movie; I'm not callin' ya out buddy but I didn't see too much that looked fake to me

I thought it was excellent. I don't know why but so many people bash the ending, but that's how it's supposed to be. Besides, the narration gives it a "tie in" to the movie and "tie up" story closure. I thought it worked well; though at first I was wondering the same thing s Stazi about Cruise's comment on the birds

I particularly liked the fact that all while cruise and the crazy guy were talking, you could hear the stomping and whooshing of the tripods legs above. The best attention grabber was the initial action scene and the best moment of the film was when the military intervened. everything else was fast paced and I really enjoyed it. Even though I usually get a bit tired frtom sitting too long, I wasn't even phased because I was that entertained.
