I have also put this on the list of movies to rent, but not to see in the theater, despite some good reviews I've seen.
Actually, I didn't see it yet. My post was more a review of Ebert's review. It's not the first time he's complained about features from a movie that are straight out of the book on which it's based.
On the whole, I like Ebert's reviews, and we tend to agree more often than not.
