Then you did it right & your engines will be happier for it. I suggest you check out the Lucas products in your local parts store for the Crown Vic. There should be some sort of engine re-vitalizing additive that may help with the oil consumption. I've tried a few of their products & been pleased with the results after a few drive cycles.
