Hello. i searched and didnt come up with anything new. these vents in the back of my trunk i took out about 3 months ago and covered it up with some foam spray stuff and it didnt work. so i took out the foam and put dynamat (since its covered in it anyways,) on it and then sealed it with some foam. AND IT STILL LEAKS WHEN IT RAINS!! mainly because the tires spalsh up the water and into the vents. and i did remove the plastic vents totally becuase my system in my trunk raddled the hell out of the rubber vents. and it was annoying.
what i was thinking of doing is getting a metal sheet and talking off the bumber and cover it up with the sheet of metel and welding it to the trunk on both sides right and left and on the inside and outside.
what do you all think of this??
pros and cons that i may have overlooked??
any other way to do this and make it not leak ??
