after having a pre-98 and a 98+ console... i liked the 98 better. you think the origional cupholders in the 98's were bad? i hated my 96 cup holder, and when i "upgraded" to a dual cupholder for it, even worse. i did kinda miss having that little pocket under the stereo there... but all in all i think the 98+ is better. my .02
