i have found a grey leather interior (se maybe? the seats are bolstered way more than my mystique) pre 98 contour. the interior is in great shape so it has set me to thinking about yanking my 98 console and replacing it with the pre 98 one.
(my car- 98 mystique ls duratec, atx, improved cup holders)
i tried searching,uncovering many references to a how to take out a console with pictures apparently done around the year 2000 but no longer available. (search done on all topics using "pre 98 console" as key words)
anyone have a copy of this old how to?
someone also posted up pictures a month ago or so of their pre 98 console, indicating parts necessary to accomplish such a swap. a reposting of this info, or for that matter a new how to, would be greatly appreciated.
suggestions on key words to use in this search are welcomed.
