I have had 5 contours in my family. Three of which I have owned, two that I still own. 2 of them where pre98, the other three post97. And I can not stand the post97 consoler. Some of the post97s had a deaper driver side cup holder, the right side is shallow due to the shifter. But the pre98 console is better. All cup holders in the contour suck plane suckass.
