You can see my SVT and Jenna's little red Neon at our old house... lol. I'm glad they updated the mapping, so you can see it.

The even cooler thing is that there was only ONE day that our cars were parked in such a manner, so I actually know exactly when the picture was taken (vice: some time in summer, etc)

<--------- Also full on addicted to this! Big thanks to whoever posted it! j/k I do love it however!

My big find is the Ferrari testing track where they test new cars and F1 cars.

Go to Maranello, Italy and as it is zooming I think you will see it. If not, it is a little Northwest of the red dot saying Maranello. IT s hard to miss, a race track in the middle of a town!

My next quests are: Chernobyl, BMW Factory in Munich Germany, the pyramids in Egypt, basically all of the 7 (or is it 8 now?) wonders of the world. Can anybody list them all out for me? Or point me to a place that lists them out with locations?

Eric (and all others),

Make sure that under "layers" you have "Keyhole (or is it GE) BBS" checked. that will show any and all posts made on the keyhole(now GE) forums. Anytime ANYONE linked a find they found, it is added to that database, and shown for all to see. huge collection, and easily used.

Also recommend browsing the forums (linked under "help" or "tools" can't remember which.

I've found the olympic rings in Atlants, and Greece.. as well as the Ford factory in MI (says "FORD" on top and the building is a big blue oval!), the Princess Di crash site (tunnel) as well as an overlay made to map out the event.

A PRE 9-11 WTC overlay was made, as was a pre 9-11 Pentagon. I have a list of rather interesting finds as well. (half of a jetliner flying through the air, caused by updating one picture with newer imagery, and leaving the other...)and many others.

Let me know, and I'll show you some ins/outs of the open source nature of this program (people have made many kml, kmz and polygon layers that can be imported permanenty, such as realtime weather monitoring, and traffic monitoring from within GE.

For you, Eric:

Seven wonders of the World, in the
Ancient World
Medieval World
Natural World
Undersea World
Modern World
and the New Seven Wonders

Some in each category are duplicates, but hey... Whaddgja want for free, your money back?

no need to "save".. just "open with" GE to import it permanently to your list of places.

That's awesome Ray.

You got one for the realtime weather monitoring?

Thanks to you I played a little more with it today and found a lot of REALLY NEAT stuff. It's really cool when you can see what other people have found.
