Exactly. There are many 'mistakes' that I've made, but I can't say I'd prefer to have not made those mistakes. I've learned too much from past decisions that I can't imagine who I'd be without them.
Having said that, I only have one true regret, and that's that I lost touch with everyone I grew up with in Wisconsin. Over the last few years I've learned how important people who have known you your entire life are. I moved when I was 13 and didn't keep in touch with anyone after I left.
I would also probably focus my schoolwork differently. I'd most certainly go into computer programming and/or internet technologies instead of psychology if I could do it all over again.
