when people want to take my cars off of my lot to be inspected by a third party, i usually let them unless it is to far away from my insurance coverage. i have a 6 mile radius. since there are about 20 mechanic shops within one mile of me, there is no need to go any further and auto exam is a company that will come to my lot and examine the cars for a 100 fee. i think it is a great idea for my customers to have the cars looked at by a mechanic, that way they know more than me what kind of shape my car is in. i may miss something during my inspection of my cars that i do when i first get them in for resale. not very likely but it happens.
