I have it set up from my head unit exactly how the FAQ says to bypass (and I did that before I read the faq
) and am going to be doing this when I add an amp. I can't afford the amp right now but I am going to wire the entire car at once: run fat power cable, 6 channels of RCA, and 16ga to all doors. Then when I get a 4 channel I can just plug it in and be good.
On another note an area audio shop was having a sale so I bought a JL W6V2, I was planning on a brahma or maybe XXX or something, but $250 was a pretty good deal and it should still sound pretty damn nice, I almost got a W7, but just couldnt afford it.
