Hey guys, I'm just trolling, but I know you guys will know this.
My Emachines T2825 died and I want to take the hard drive that's in it and put it in an external hard drive holder. Then I can transfer data I want to keep off it to another XP machine. Then put the original HD back into my computer which will now have a new motherboard. The new MB means I'll have to reformat the drive and I'd like to keep some of that data before I do that.
1: What size is my HD? 3.5" 5.5"? I don't know, but I'm assuming it's 5.5 since it's out of a tower and not a desktop.
2: Anyone ever heard of an external hard drive enclosure like this before?
3: Can I do this?
