Yeah I can remember about 4 years ago when the cheapest gas in my area was 87 cents for a gallon of 87 octane at Amoco (now BP). Now I'm paying an average of $2.30 a gallon for the 93 octane...
Anyway, I only want the best for my car and I'm fairly anal about it, so paying an additional 30 cents on average per tank for the Chevron premium fuel is worth it to me, and I think I'm going to go with that from now on after having read up some on the effects of certain additives and the like.
