i have to agree. i think the guy has a strong case for legal action against bb and/or the police department. the dude paid with real money. who cares if he did to piss them off. its real money. legal federal reserve notes. if the store thought it was counterfeit then they shouldve confirmed it. if they felt they had to call the cops, fine. everyone goes into a back office to sort it all out. handcuffed? seriously? what threat did he pose. what if he wanted to pay in all singles. is that any worse? is it that hard to count to 114 in multipes of 1 or 2. obviously if he wanted to buy a $2000 computer system and pay in loose change, that might be rediculous. but even then its real money. the store either wants the sale or not. and why should they care. all the money goes to the bank anyway. the ceo of bb isnt going to get his paycheck in this change. money's money. i'd be more embarassed in paying in dimes and nickels vs thinking the store will refuse. but the guy had a sense of humor still about the situation and wanted to pay his "outstanding" bb balance with 57 federal reserve notes. if those $2 bills happened to be rare and worth alot and the guy didnt know it and wanted to use them and the clerk knew they worth alot and did the pen test to confirm they were real, i'm sure this wouldnt have happened. she would've kept her mouth shut and said thanks then wouldve kept the bills and thrown 114bucks from her pocket into the register. HE USED REAL LEGAL MONEY. how could he possibly be in the wrong. even doing so on purpose, it still wasnt even close to anything illegal/worthy of being handcuffed and humiliated.
