While I believe they took it a bit over the top, it is a business and they are there to make money. If they,in any way, feel they are being dealt fake tender then they have every right to validate it. While I don't believe the guy should have been shackled to a pole, he did purposely give the cashier 57 $2 bills knowing that she'd not be happy about it. Again, the situation was taken a bit too far, but this man went out of his way to make an inconvenience for the store and he paid for it. Moral of the story: Don't f*ck with someone if you aren't ready to take everything they can throw back at you...

I agree. How many of you have seen 57 two-dollar bills in one sitting? Would you believe they're real if an already-angry customer is trying to pay with them?

It's called a Counterfeit Pen. It's this nifty invention that every store that handles the kind of money BestBuy does has. What you do is take the cap off said pen, draw a small line on the money. If it stays yellow the money is good! If it turns black the money is bad!

You would think the F*ing police could have done this small step before arresting him. From this story I see NO probably cause or for an arrest. Hell, I dont even see even any reasonable suspicion for a stop!

This is one of the few cases where I would agree a lawsuit is on order against BestBuy AND the police department for gross negligence on both parts.
