I welcome the day, but neither of you will get there with no tuning and franken-MAF's.

96merc, why not run more boost on your setup if it's as good as you're blindly GUESSING it is? That's right, because you're on an OEM NA Zetec tune with a franken-MAF and it WILL blow up. If you don't know why, you will learn the hard way.

I'll quote what I said on the last page, just for you.

No one said that blow through setups can not be done, there are good ones out there. Do you know why? Tuning and correct components, both of which you ignore to use. That's the main point I would like to get across. Address those two issues, and you should be fine. The MAF is the most critical sensor to get tuned right, once you have it done everything else will fall into place much easier.

I would bet you're getting the same advice more or less, but are taking it the wrong way. Did the other "experts" tell you to not tune anything and make a frankenstien MAF? That's what everyone is pretty much telling you NOT to do here.

BTW, Exdelayed beat you to being the first to have an MTX swap done IIRC.

No one here wants to see you cook your zetec. I'd like to see what TurboTom would say about the Franken-MAF and lack of tuning.
