I have the Hella dual tone horns on mine from BAT. They're plenty loud. I never have anyone who doesn't hear them......

I am getting those soon, they are only like $28.

My 95 has a nice loud horn and I honestly dont remember if my SVT is loud or not. I have heard of a lot of ppl stealing horns out of tauruses and other ford cars that have louder horns. Junk yards come in handy , stay away from stealing them out of parked cars however.

I'm guessing it was a year change for the horns.

My 98 (E0) has a nice horn. I would never change it. My friend has a 98.5 (E1) and his horn sounds weak. I don't like it at all.

I remember a thread about a year ago about horns, it had a link to a horn place with .wav files on. Might be worth checking out if you want to replace sometime.

I picked this up. It's really nice:

It's very easy to install compared to most air horns. Single point mount.
