pete, why not konis and h&r. bilsteins arent adjustable but how do they compare to konis. r bilsteins the same as the softest koni setting? mid? full stiff setting? anyone know? the koni sport kit looks to be a great deal. matched struts and springs with adjustable struts
Koni $175 x 4 = $700 Bilstein $122.50 x 4 = $490
I don't track my car, so the adjustability isn't needed for me. After finding the settings I preferred, I have not changed the GCs or Konis. I'm certain I would've been happy with Bilsteins & H&Rs.

Pete I had Konis and H&R's I don't think you would have been satisfied with the ride height. I didn't like the "raked" look H&R's give these cars. Ride I dunno not too different but I can't remember that far back I'd still say GC's all the way

I have 2 CSVT's
One with Konis/Eibachs - Konis are kept on full soft as its a daily driver. I often have co-workers or cleints in the car. Ride is very nice, the progressive rate springs are comfortable on everyday drives, not bouncy, and on spirited driving the car firms up. The look is subjective, it's definitely low, but not extreme like the B&G's. Lowers the car maybe a 1/4" more than BAT springs. Koni's are lifetime struts, or at least thats what I'm hoping for. Mine are about 4yrs old now.
Other has Koni's/H&R's H&R's are much more bouncy and the raked front seems low. Almost too low. Very sporty in feel, definitely a more track feel that seems a bit more punishing on daily driving. Struts are about 4 1/2 yrs old and handling their age just fine.

If all you people hate the raked look of h&r's just put the batery in the trunk. it levels things right out. I had H&r's for over a year and my only complaint was the rear barely lowered at all and the front was just a tad too low. But when i did the batery relocation, the front came up 1/4"-1/2" and the rear squated down the same so now its perfect. Look at demons car? his car doesnt look raked and i think he has one of those tiny bat's that weigh like 5 pounds.

I'm trying to be difficult I don't see any mention of a Bilstein/Eibach setup for a SVT here, and that's what I'm kinda leaning towards now - not that much more of a drop over the BATs. Just wondering if they're worth the extra money.
