You were attempting maintenance on the car (the A/C specifically)..

You:
KNEW the problem (or, at least, weren't asking about the problem)
Knew the part name
Knew the intended fix
Weren't modding anything at all.
No performance gain was intended, questioned, or theorized.

This was not a GENERAL post at all.. It was oozing of maintenance, and I would've moved the post to here, as well.
