My fix was to use the air intake duct from TSB-96-19-5 with the TSB 97-22-3. This was my experience but it could be different for you.
If you are thinking of doing it yourself the part nos. are F6RZ-9B659-CA for TSB 96-19-5, and TSB 97-22-3 hose F8RZ9H308AA and gasket E83Z9F670A. Check the FAQ Common Problems: Noises, to confirm the numbers. You can check the number on your new IAC valve to see if it is XS2Z9F715BA. I bought my parts from fordpartsonline.com (takes about a week) but you can probably get them at your local dealer.
Good luck.
That's the weird thing: I think the original owner had those TSB's done. I was only famaliar with the Moose from reading about it here. So I was dumfounded that a simple IAC swap would cause it. I guess the NAPA IAC is going back to the store, and I'll call it a job. Very weird. Anyway, thanks for the help.
