I have tri-color LED's the size of a chicklet. So maybe I'll put a switch somewhere that I can change them from red to orange to green. Maybe make the colors change with an A/F meter? I just love it when those ideas pop into my head

That's .8V or so at idle, 1-3 part throttle and 4.5+ at WOT via the TPS... O.K. Chris, let's see the wiring diagram... (and no "problems with the TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?" you smart asses out there... BTW, mine will be blue as well, no "calling" colors...

I would just use transistors and some resistors for that. Not a bad idea though! I bet they would look really keen on some white gauge faces. I'll trade ya a set of tri-color needles for some white faces. Maybe...

Whoa! blast from the past..... (thinking to self: I wish somebody would tell us how-to make these because I don't have the time to rip my car apart.....
Has anybody else been doing any research on the Intelliglow Style needles for our cars? I can't fathom paying a rediculous 70 something dollars for this......

I made some, but they are a pain in my ass to make. Three color LED's too. Some guy got them to work in a Contour and they look pretty cool. They are just LED's with a special casing. I am betting you could just grind out a spot in the clear plastic of the needles and put a high intensity LED with some very fine wires to power them.
