Is she interested in the '05 Pathfinder? I rented one a few months ago, and speaking as an SUV hater was thoughoughly impressed. Wasn't the least bit unwieldly, drove like a car, and the 270 HP/291 Lb/Ft V6 that thinks it's an 8 didn't hurt, either.
Extremely comfortable, rode nice, much better than the Durango I rented here in Vegas a little over a year ago.
