not a fan of the Freestyle, its quite slow and looks like a station wagon.
The Vue is a really nice vehicle, especially in the Redline trim and with the Honda V6! I used to sell them while I was in college and everyone that bought one loved them! They have a really solid powertrain and great service/sales dept.
If you can get over the cheap interior its a great vehicle! It is actually a contender for me and my fiance. She really likes the Nissan Murano but for the price a Redline Vue is a steal! We are still not sure if we like the CVT on the Murano enough to buy it.
If im not mistaken the tranmission on the VUE is a 5speed auto from Toyota.....I say go for the redline! The 06 Vue should have had the facelife back in 02 when they debuted!
The current Vue with the unpainted bumpers looks so cheap, thats the reason we are looking into the redline. I wish Saturn would step it up a couple notches with the interior quality and options but for the price they are not bad.
I would take a V6 Vue over most any of its competition for the time being. Also What does she think of the Liberty? My friends parents have two and they love them. They suck gas but are a pretty solid unit! We test drove a Equinox and it has a very similar plasticy feel and a powertrain that leaves much to be desired.
