Takes more than that to piss me off. The brush finish is just that, brushed... that means little lines on it... I don't know how to explain it any better.

The pics I've posted here are of the mirror finish which does resemble chrome.

The etching is everything you see on the plate that does not have a mirror finish to it, lines and letters.

If you want to buy BAT's and have your car say Mondeo, go ahead. I don't expect you to pay more for mine to be custom made to say Mondeo. Their's are cheaper because they make them in large batches which I can't and don't want to do to keep the custom ability available.

Ahhhh, the fonts. Again, choosing from thousands, I actually have two or three that match very close, I just need to pick one. Rick chose the SVT font himself, I think he made a wise choice. Leaving the Contour the same font as the SVT next to it was also a wise choice IMHO to have continuity throughout the piece. If others feel different, speak now or forever pay a custom font premium to do so. The Contour SE and GL will have the "Contour" style of font, not the "SVT" style of font.
