Actually, I only see two recalls. Lots of TSBs, but only two recalls.

I see four, counting emissions recalls.
However, four recalls (and all the TSBs) are pretty excessive for one year in. Given it's only a 2004, I'd be willing to bet Hitman will see many more in the future.

Those recalls dont apply to every Cavalier. If any of you would have bothered to dig deeper, one of those recalls only effected 59 Cavaliers.
"04056 AUG 04 Recall - Passenger Rear Seat Belt Anchor Non-Compliance "
yeah I whopping 59 Cavaliers were recalled.
My Cavalier has yet to have any problems nor has it had any recalls.

And thats why you remain in the sinking boat you are in. Why the hell you CONTINUE to bashon our cars is beyond me. I hope you enjoy driving that Ford/Chrysler Cavalier when they get bought out becuase of their crappy design, unreliable vehicles, and poor marketing.
Has anyone ever felt the need to just he-man [censored] slap someone because it would just straight up be sould cleansing?!

Lets also why I'm at look closer at this TSB list, shall we.....
2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
04-03-10-001A NOV 04 Tires - Puncture Repair Procedures
How to repair a tire, that can be applied for any vehicle.
04-08-46-003 NOV 04 OnStar(R) - Unable to Connect to OnStar (Alaska Only)
Cavaliers dont have OnStar I was told, hmmm
02-08-46-010E NOV 04 OnStar(R) - French Canadian Voice Recognition
Cavaliers dont have voice recognition
99-08-51-007B NOV 04 Wheels - Aluminum Wheel Refinishing
No one needs to refinish wheels, less than a year old
03-07-29-004A NOV 04 M/T - Operational Characteristics
Operational Characteristics - how the M/T operates is considered a TSB????
02-06-03-006B NOV 04 Electrical - Testing Prior to Alternator/Battery R&R
This is for future reference like in 10 years when the alternator may fail
04-06-04-082 NOV 04 Engine Controls - Driveability Issues Using CNG Fuel
Few Cavas can be used with CNG fuel
01-01-38-006D SEP 04 A/C - R-134a System Flushing Procedures
No ones A/C is out yet, for future reference down the road
04-07-30-037 SEP 04 A/T - Dexron® III(R) (H-Revision) Specification Upgrade
they upgraded the coolant
02-07-30-052C SEP 04 A/T - Fluid Flushing Procedure/Tool
GM said the trans fluid is life long in the manual
00-08-48-005A SEP 04 Body - Distortion in Outer Surface of Vehicle Glass
nope no distortion here
04-08-68-002 SEP 04 Cruise Control - Increasing Set Speed
look in the owners manual for that, that shouldnt be a TSB
04-06-04-063 SEP 04 Engine Controls - Idle Flair/Deceleration Stall
applies to M/T only
04-06-04-051A SEP 04 Fuel System - Maintenance Cleaning of Fuel Injectors
not until 50,000 miles thats for future needs
01-07-31-002A SEP 04 M/T - Improved Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding Procedure
how to bleed a clutch, tips actually thanks GM for helping out your techs.
So you see most of those are for future reference only, few of them dont make any sense whatsoever, and a few of them are for problems Cavaliers have, but hey what cars dont have any problems.

Oh My God!!
You have spent countless threads and bandwidth saying how "Good" and "reliable" your car is and that "I won't have any problems with this car, its perfect." TRUST ME, the time I have spent working at a GM dealership is enough to trust my Contour over ANY GM product WITH OUT a 3800. . Got headgasket Replacement?
AND WE TOLD YOU, Fords sales ARE NOT down. We ALSO told you WHY recalls happen and that FORD does these WAAY before they become an issue. GM needs a large percentage of complained issues to issue a recall. Hell, it took 3 fuggin years for them to issue a recall on the rear tailight bulbhousing, shorting in teh harness. Damn thing even caused several fires. *clap* way to go Gm, waaayy to go *clap*
