Hey everybody. I just bought a 1998 Contour SE Sport with a 2.5 and a 5 speed. Pretty much the first thing I did was searched and found this site. First of all, I've fallen in love with this car, it's got good power, looks great, and I finally have a stick to drive . I'm definately not new to Fords, I've already had a 90 Tbird, a 95 Cougar, and a 94 Cougar I fixed up and am going to sell (to pay off the Contour). I'm a regular on TCCOA for any of you that have been there. Anyway here's a picture of it, other than some rock chips, a couple dings, and a worn steering wheel and shift knob the car is in almost perfect condition....and it's got 132000 miles on it.

Looks like its pretty clean and nice. Although those head lights look a little hazed over... There are plenty of how to's for bringing them back to new, search around Welcome to CEG and let the modding begin!!!

Ya the headlights are pretty hazy. The MN12's (Tbirds and Cougars) have the same problem so it's just matter of doing it, although I did throw a coat of Mother's Mag and Al polish on which helped quite a bit. It's gonna stay pretty much stock (unless I fall into a lot of money) because when it comes to mod money my Cougar comes first. One thing it is getting though is about a $2000 stereo budget. I already picked up some Boston Acoustic coax's and put them in the front doors.....wow are they amazing. Next is gonna be a sub and amps. Im still deciding on a sub, maybe an Adire Brahma, RE XXX, or Boston G5. I've already been looking around though and have seen some nice howto's. But like I said it's gonna stay mostly mod free because I bought it as a daily driver and just need a nice sound system. Honestly though, I don't know how long that train of thought will stick with me, power is an addiction.
That's actually across the street from my place so they're my neighbors. We got some hugh-jass maple trees in my yard though.

Wow fast replies, I thought the board looked kinda small, but I guess not. I'm from New Ulm, MN it's in southern MN near Mankato, about an hour and a half southwest of the cities.
