Yes I looked through the archives before I posted.

I think I have a stuck fuel flapper valve as today my tank was completely empty (fuel light on) and it wouldn't take any gas. I squeezed about $0.50 worth and it literally got spat back out. The temps today were in the mid 90's here and the symptons match that of the stuck flapper valve.

I have limited tools available to me and am supposed to pick up my GF from the airport 2.5 hours away tomorrow, anybody have any suggestions?!

If it is the flapper valve, there was confusion in the archives as to whether it was recall/warranty, was there ever any clariciation on this?

THANKS!!

use a clothes hangar (opened up) to run down the filler neck and "unstick" it. that is a QUICK fix.

Other than that, try another location.. I've had the flap stick and could get more than $1.00 in 5 minutes.. go somewhere else, and it works fine.. something to do with the design of the pump itself... (the "auto-shutoff" design is different)
