I've been thinking, and as someone a bit younger, I think that all these ricer-style ones are too overdone. The Contour has good smooth lines that are unique to the car. Let's try and keep with the overall theme of it and make them nice and curved. I have a pre-98 and would like to see a nice rear bumper made similar to the SVT ones. IMHO, the rear bumpers on pre-98s wasn't low enough compared to the rest of the car. If something like this was available, I might be in.

When it comes to the SVT, I think that some of those designs are too obnoxious! Don't ruin a nice car with stupid kits!

OH MY GOD SOMEONE DOES HAVE A BRAIN!

of course he's from Chicago smile That's what I've been trying to say the whole time. I really tired of all these kits and references to the damn Mondeo...Yeah, yeah the basic design came from the mondeo, but hey people get a clue...IT'S A FRIGGEN CONTOUR!! Like I said before the 98-2001 Contour is one of the most original designs I have ever seen....and the SVT, well it's just an extension of that.

and yes...blah to all of these damn "kits", the one above looks like a Cosworth for crimineys sake. If you want a Cosworth, mondeo or any other type of design...please by all means buy one, pretty soon I'll be one of the few owners of a SVT tour while every else scrambles to get everything else.

Then I can sit back and enjoy my SVT Contour...the car with one of the most beautiful lines ever made. Period.

How about this one guys?
I love the front splitter it's got, and the rear wing looks just the right size. And the wheels contrast perfectly!

I saw an excellent article in a mag called
something like "Racecar Engineering" on
the ProDrive built Mondeo's, in it they
explained that the front bumper is the
stock Ford part with a new lower section added where the rubber skirt would be
normally on the road cars. Cost was the reason given due the high incidence of
crashed front bumpers and air dams.
I really like the look of the Mondeos
that were in the BTCC. A few of them made
it to Australia (series 1 and 2's) and
competed here in our 2 litre super tourer
series after the british teams had finished with them.
