Stock brakes are fine...not the absolute greatest option available but they do a damn good job. Your mustang was significantly heavier than the contour is, and also...didn't the old GT's have rear drum brakes?




93 was the final year for drum brakes on the Mustang. All SN95s have had 4-wheel disc brakes (94-04) as do the S197s (05+)
