Been a while since I logged onto CEG. Figured I'd show off my latest project.
'88 Ranger 2wd short bed
'88 Mustang 5.0 and tranny(T-5)
Mustang II Front end
17 x 9 Cobra R rims
I still need to rebuild the motor and figure out the steering. Probably going to Stroke it out to 347. Made the entire front clip from scratch in my chassis fabrication class at Wyotech.

Hi. BTW... your old Contour is going to Germany with me for a while. 
Hope it turns out nice... my brother was thinking of attempting a 4.6 out of a Crown Vic or a 5.0 out of the 88 Mark VII in his 91 Ranger. Ran into $ problems and had to sell the Ranger. Oh well.

SWEET!! i have a very good friend who has an 1989 S-10 with a Corvette 327 in it with solid lifters  Really almost a scary ride when he "gets" on it! I think they made a Ranger GT back in the day that had a 302 4 BBl motor in it.....

cool project. i wondered if the dakota would take the role the CSVT did - always getting tinkered with - or if another vehicle would slide in place for that. guess it was the latter.  wyotech, huh? was this a one-time course kinda thing, or are you taking a lot of classes there? hope you can make it down to PLM again this fall....matt and i will be camped near the skidpad again in the RV for sure.
