Say it ain't so! What is going to happen? They just said 14 of the 20 cars run Michelin tires, but they are unsafe, so will it be a 6 car race? I think Schui will have it in the bag then. What is goint to happen? Talk about a to Michelin!

Michelin is so stupid. People are throwing stuff on to the track because of this. Those tickets are ridiculously expensive and what do the fans get in return? A six man race. It's crazy.

I think it will show badly for Michelin, but from what the announcers said,Michelin had new (safe) tires overnighted, but the FIA would not let the teams change them out b/c of the 1-set rule. So then they started looking for alternatives like the chicane or "asking" the drivers to go slowly through turn 13 (Yeah Right!! ). Well, at least Jordan and the Cosworth teams will get some points. Wonder when the last time they did that was?

Yeah, I've been watching the race.
Why do Redneeck Midwesterners resort to "object throwing" to show their anger.

I don't blame them. I would be angry too. I hope they get a refund.

i hope they don't get a refund and get fined for throwing things on the track. no reason for NASCAR-like decorum.

I don't excuse them throwing things out on the track, but they should get a refund for not being provided what was promised to them.

This is a PR disaster for F1.
I've been to the USGP 3 times now (didn't go this year, thank goodness)and for whatyou pay for tics, I would be demanding a refund too.
But underlying this whole farce I smell politics. Many teams (actually a majority) have been threatening to leave F1 and set up a rival race venue, obviously a threat to Ecclestone. Interestingly enough, Ferrari is the team most opposed to this, being in bed with the status quo as it is...the status quo that came up with the one tire rule that most drivers deplore.
Just my 2 cents worth. Just remember, if it has t*ts or tires, its gonna give you problems

Michelin pulled its tires saying they were not say as the Turn 13 corner was causing problems with breaking the sidewall structure casuing a tear.
Michelin offered up a new tire, F1 said no as F1 only allows 2-tires to be brought to each race. Michelin said they will not gurantee the tire and siad it wasnt safe.
Michelin asked for a chicane to be placed in order to decrease the speed, F1 said no as no one had practiced that course.
14 teams did one lap and into the pitts they went. Michelin said the tire was safe at slow speeds in Turn 13 but the drivers/teams felt a reduced speed would be dangerous with the other speedier Bridgestone teams.
