If you could some how get a hold of a pair of Aerocharger turbos from their short run Focus turbo kit, you could use those in a twin setup. They use a self contained oil reseviour and are mountable virtually in any position. Each is only good to 220whp on the Focus, but in pairs on the V6 you should do around 300whp.

The biggest problem is Aerocharger no longer in business for automotive applications so you'd have to find used units and they almost always will need a rebuild because the variable vanes get gunked up causing overboosting and the turbo breaks past 12psi. However, some people have just added stock external wastegates and that fixed the overboosting.

But they are hard to get just one these days, nevermind two.

Absolutely pointless. One turbo is all you need. I don't get why people like to complicate the crap out of things...

true, i think we all know that achieving huge ammounts of HP isn't the problem with our cars. however its unique and something to do, so might as well do it.

Not 100% sure but you can't ad more turbos because you wont have the right amount of pressure power theme. Because I wanted to quard turbo a four cylinder. I turbo for each cylinder, But I dont think the pressure would be great enough. Ofcours you would have to use small turbo like the ones in SRT4 or Jetta.

It's only the people that think
1 turbo is good
so 2 turbos must be better...
they are the only ones that post questions like that

not only that, but you wont make any more power with a twin turbo than you will with a single turbo.

That's what I mean...they are people who (nicley put) may not know much about turbos...they just hear they are cool

a twin setup will only benifit you under the corerct circumstances, it has been discussed and is well known that dean's setup is more show than go, but look at his car, i don't expect to see it racing anytime...ever.
