They must have meant Canadian Dollars. They're like yen or something. It's probably really $5.

2 - Who would install it in their car after they bought it? NOBODY!

I emailed the seller a little bit ago and here what went down:
Hello Sir,
I'm interested in your paltinum shift knob. I have a pretty ricetastic Honda Civic complete with a TON of APC stuff, cross bone light up led washer nozzles, NOS air freshener, fire extinguisher, and some pretty cool carbon fibre decals. Now, I have the money available for the knob. I street race on a daily basis and pretty much ANY Z24 cavy, sunfire, grand am se, or sonoma doesn't stand a chance, so I win like 10 bucks here, a hot pocket there, and neonlights, too! So, my question is if I purchase this platinum knob for my auto trans civic and have it redrilled to fit the shifter shaft, can you install some sweet red and green leds in it?! If so I'll take it mang!

I sent the following question to the seller: Quote:
Current market value for pure platinum is $898.00 per ounce and the object weighs 42.72 ounces. Unless my math is wrong that puts the value at roughly $38,362.56. What makes this particular product worth the extra $36,637.44??
I wonder if he'll respond...
