You did check to see if the rod is connected to the secondary valves? (under the throttle body) It connects with a cheep plastic bushing that several people have had to replace on this web site. I know that was my problem, not the IMRC.

The rod is connected. I just had the manifolds off to clean them. I ran into this problem as soon as I changed the alternator. It worked fine then after i changed it the imrc stopped. Blown fuse or relay? I can't figure this one out.
