I would like a new M3, but they are 50K or so MSRP.

1)i have driven a few g35's both coupe and sedan with the auto and the manual and i love the way they drive. the interior doesn't seem to be any better or worse than anything else. there is alot of potential there. on a side note, i have driven a turbo 350z and the damn thing absolutely would not idle. no throttle=no idle for some reason, and this was someones daily driver.

2)what is there to say? it is an audi s4. a nice car to be sure but it doesn't scream "gotta have it" like the tour did.

3)i completely and totally love the way volvo seats feel, im 5'8" and 200+lbs. if you are planning on taking any road trips this is a car to consider, imo.

the m3 is nice, but it is still a bmw which means funky placement of controls and expensive repairs.

if i were looking for a new sedan and i had some money to spend i would seriously consider a cts-v for a sporty option or a 300c hemi for a cruiser. sadly there are very few cars that interest me enough to have as a second to the tour and nothing that i would replace it with. even if it is wrong wheel drive.

after thought: just today i had the opportunity to examine the cargo area of a c5 vette and even with the top down there was enough room for a guy to pack for atleast a week or a man and his woman to pack for alteast a weekend.

i test drove saab, audi, and bmw yesterday. loved the bmw.
bmw offers 4 years of free maintenance and warranty
audi offers the same for 3 years.

we're looking at leasing so we wont have to worry about paying for any issues while we have it.

THe G35 interior felt a little cheap, but was much better than my ford and better than the 350Z.

Price range is max 50k. Preferably closer to 40K.

Well I stick by my guns on the CTS-V and S60R. The S4 starts at a tad bit north of 50 (IIRC) and even one that is a year old hasn't really lost enough value where it would make a decent difference.

Might also want to look at a 530i with the sport pkg, won't be as hard edged as the other cars but still sets the bar for handling in it's class.

You might also want to check out the new Infiniti M35 or Lexus GS. Although I haven't a clue if you can get either with a stick.

GTO or G35 Coupe. Tough choices, can't go wrong with either of them.

Legacy GT. Get one for around 27k. Put 2k into it so it runs circles around the rest and the keep the difference for a nice Plasma TV and a trip to Vegas.
