Now we have a liar for president and commander in chief, who fabricates evidence to start a war with a country that never attacked us and was of no credible threat to us. The reasons for this war are not valid and ambiguous.


? ? When Pearl Harbor was attacked, it was clear who was responsible, and what we had to do about it.?  It was Japan that attacked us.?  The government of Japan, the people of Japan, the entire nation of Japan.?  We had a well-defined, obvious enemy, and we had to go to war against that enemy.

? ? We were attacked again on 11 September 2001.?  You don't mean to suggest that these attacks were nothing more than a fabrication perpetrated by President Bush, do you?

? ? Surely, the 09/11/2001 attacks are every bit as much an act of war as the attack on Pearl Harbor.?  And surely these attacks demand, every bit as much as the Pearl Harbor attack did, that we go to war and seek to destroy those responsible for these attacks.

? ? The only thing that is different is that this time, the enemy is not so clearly defined.?  Instead of having a single enemy nation whose government and people were behind the attack, we have a loose group of terrorists who were hidden in? â??? and were covertly supported by the governments of? â??? several nations.?  I can't begin to imagine the detective and espionage work that must have been put into identifying our enemies and the nations that supported them.?  For obvious reasons, our government cannot share with the public the evidence that it has gathered.?  In this situation, we can only hope and trust that our government has identified and targeted the correct enemies.

? ? There is no question that a very good reason exists for us to be at war.?  We were attacked, and thousands of us murdered, on our own soil.?  The only thing that can be questions is whether we have identified and attacked the correct enemies.

? ? if there is anything that gives me comfort, it is that we have an administration that appears to be honest and trustworthy, as opposed to the administration that preceded it, which repeatedly proved itself to be very much otherwise.
