The reasoning of my assumption is because my brother had recruiting duty during his last year of service. He basically had to lie to people to butter up what the service sounds like. And NO, it's not hell, either. He didn't carry out what the story accuses the recruiters of doing, though. As I said that's.. not being a recruiter. That's being an aszhole.
