Switch is about 10 bucks. You have to remove the radio, compartment below it (if an older 95-97 Contour/Mystique) and the knob and the 2 screws at the bottom by the lighter and ashtray. The 1998 Mystique has a screw on the bottom of the wood trim, simpler mount. It's a job. The resistor might be easier to do.
