I wouldn't buy two Bank 1 exhaust cams first off because the timing marks are off. But, that can be circumvented with a little math.
However, it wouldn't work even if you timed it properly- Where would the cam position sensor get its signal? There's no pulse nodule on the Bank 1 exhaust cam!
Who ever said bank 1???
LH = Left Hand = Bank 2

IIRC it's LH
Now granted it appears I did not remember correctly. (rare but it happens ) The RH exhaust cam drives the pump. I just remembered it was opposite of the standard Duratec engine.
However lathing off the excess part of the camshaft is no big deal. I don't see what all the problem is with it. Several people have done it running early 3L heads with SVT cams. (and an EWP)

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
