Yes, the M6 uses the exhaust cam to drive the w/p.

Hmmm. Anyone got a hacksaw??? <searches>
What drawbacks occur when you cut it, I wonder... Especially at the horsepower promised by the headwork and ADC hybrid kit...

I don't see any draw backs in cutting them. Just do it on a lathe or something suitable at holding the cams so you don't damage the lobes or bearing surfaces.
PS - my ? is, "Is it worth the hassle to do all this to use these cams?"

According to Demon, yes- The reduced overlap of the hybrid cam setup (3L intake, M6 exhaust) is "optimal" for F/I. Supposedly the SVT cams' increased overlap will cause "boost bleeding" at higher horsepower/RPM/boost levels <extreme paraphrasing>.

i think they have different specifications. theroretically keeps the power to around 7300 rpm roughly 45 to 50hp gain up top. I had mine cut. Having the oval port injection with this setup on pnp heads,3.o turbo...

Think about it silly.
Inside of buying a LH exhaust and RH exhaust just buy two LH exhaust cams.
IIRC it's LH - either way he means buy 2 cams WITHOUT the waterpump drive.

As long as the timing marks are the same on the LH and RH camshafts, then yes, buy two of LH ones. Check the marks first though.
